We are making a change in the water network in Echuca near the Fehring Lane area on Tuesday 23 June from 10am to 2pm.
To do this we will be opening a valve that has been closed for some time. When the valve is opened, natural sediment may be disturbed, resulting in discoloured water. We will minimise this by flushing the pipes in nearby streets.
Impacted customers have been notified but some customers may notice discoloured water for a short period after the works. If you notice any changes to the look, taste or odour of your drinking water, run your taps until the water runs clear.
There should be no interruption to your water supply and your water remains safe to drink.
Making this change will help improve the efficiency and resilience of the network by allowing the water to circulate more efficiently.
