  Wedderburn and Korong Vale

Update: Thursday 18 December at 5pm

Our water treatment plant at Korong Vale is now back online and fully operational.

We have informed Loddon Shire Council that the Wedderburn standpipe can be reopened.

Water carting to Wedderburn and Korong Vale has now ceased.

Thank you for your patience.

Update: Thursday 18 December at 3pm

Our water treatment plant at Korong Vale is currently offline due to an unexpected incident.

The Korong Vale Water Treatment Plant supplies water to Wedderburn and Korong Vale.

There is currently no drinking water outage but while we work to fix this issue, we are asking our large water-user customers in the Wedderburn and Korong Vale areas to restrict their usage.

As part of our efforts to continue to supply drinking water to affected areas, we will begin water carting to Wedderburn and Korong Vale clear water storages.
This will involve carting water from the Inglewood standpipe in Belmont Street to the clear water storage tanks in Wedderburn and Korong Vale.

Residents in these areas will notice extra traffic along the Calder Highway between these towns.

Until we have repaired the issue at the Korong Vale Water Treatment Plant, the Wedderburn standpipe in Reef Street will be closed.

We will update this post shortly.
