Update, 7.30pm:
Unfortunately, the repairs to the burst recycled water main are complex and require specialist equipment to complete safely.
Our plumbers are working hard to find temporary fixes to maintain supply pressure to affected customers as we repair the main. Those customers have been contacted directly.
We are now estimating service to be restored to affected recycled water customers by Saturday morning, 25 October.
Update, 5pm:
Our crews remain on site repairing the burst.
We are now estimating service to be restored by 10pm tonight, Thursday 23 October.
Earlier:
Recycled water customers in White Hills, Jackass Flat and Bendigo may have no recycled water until the repairs are complete.
Other areas that use the recycled water network may experience low pressure.
Traffic management is in place.
Full service is estimated to be restored at 8pm tonight, Thursday 23 October.
