Over the coming weeks we will be working at the Castlemaine Water Treatment on McCay Reservoir Road on Saturdays as part of the construction of our new clear water storage tank.
This is to install the steel walls on our new 6 megalitre clear water storage tank. These works should not involve heavy machinery, extra noise or regular traffic on McCay Reservoir Road.
When completed, the tank will provide extra water security for the Castlemaine community, who rely on the plant to provide them with drinking water each day.
Works will begin on Saturday 16 May and will continue for about 9 weeks, weather permitting. Works will take place from 7am to 3pm on Saturdays. We may not be required to work every Saturday.
