Work to install the Maiden Gully to Marong Pipeline continues with the five kilometre section of sewer main and water pipeline along the Calder Highway west of the Maiden Gully Shopping Centre.
As part of the next stage of construction of the Maiden Gully to Marong Pipeline, building a new water main alongside the Calder Highway at Hills Road, Marong from Monday 24 November for about six weeks.
Works will be completed on weekdays between 7am and 5.30pm.
During these works, we’ll need to close a 50-metre section of Hills Road, at the corner of Malone Park Road. We’ll have traffic supervisors will be on site to assist vehicles.
If you live on Hills Road, your driveway will not be blocked, and you will still be able to access your property. A detour will be in pace via Parnell Street and Dorset Drive. Residents in Parnell Street may notice an increase in traffic while detours are in place.
Malone Park Road will remain open to traffic, and you can still use other streets in the surrounding area to access the Calder Highway.
