Recent heavy rainfall across our region is placing increased pressure on our water and sewer network.
The wet weather has led to higher-than-normal flows entering the system, and our teams are actively monitoring and managing the network to help minimise impacts to the community.
The Malmsbury Reservoir is now spilling. Combined with increased flows across the catchment, this creates a higher risk of the sewer network becoming overloaded, which can result in sewer spills.
