We are currently carrying out routine water mains cleaning of the Bendigo water supply network, which started in late January 2021.
This includes the surrounding towns of Axedale, Huntly, Marong, Raywood and Sebastian.
This work is carried out every two to three years, and is an important part of our routine maintenance program to ensure the drinking water we supply to customers continues to be safe.
Timeline
The cleaning works run from Wednesday 27 January 2021 until the end of April 2021.
What to expect
Some customers may notice changes to the taste and odour of the drinking water. The water remains safe to drink and meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
The works will not impact the flow or pressure of customers' water supply.
