Coliban Water is planning to reopen its customer service counter at 37-45 Bridge Street, Bendigo, from Monday 18 January.
Acting Managing Director Danny McLean said he was pleased the organisation was able to offer customers this important face-to-face service again.
“We plan to reopen our counter from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our Customer Support Team will be able to help with most enquires but in line with Victorian Government restrictions we have a limited number of staff onsite.
“To ensure a safe environment for both customers and our staff we encourage customers to call 1300 363 200 in the first instance to see in their enquiry can be resolved over the phone or to make an appointment with the relevant team member.
“There won’t be any members of Land Development Team onsite and if customers have an enquiry on asset locations or connecting a property we can arrange a follow up phone call.
“We stress to customers that the reopening of our counter service is subject to Victorian Government restrictions and COVIDSafe workplace requirements.
“Customers visiting our Bridge Street office must observe the signage with the number of customers allowed into the office at one time, wear a mask while indoors and keep to the social distancing markers on the floor.
“Existing counter payment options remain in place, which means card payments are accepted but not cash. We will keep customers informed of any changes to our plans for reopening.
“Since March last year, when we moved to remote operations, we have continued to provide services and support to our customers via phone and online. These services remain in place and we encourage customers to use them,” Mr McLean said.
