The Board of Coliban Water has appointed its Chief Operating Officer Neville Pearce as Acting Managing Director as the corporation makes preparations for recruiting its next Managing Director.
Incumbent Managing Director Jeff Rigby departs the organisation on Monday 18 February, having accepted the role of Managing Director at Western Water.
Chairperson Lucy Roffey said Mr Rigby had been an outstanding leader for Coliban Water over the past seven years, and the organisation was well positioned to maintain positive momentum under Acting arrangements.
Mr Pearce has 30 years of experience in the water industry, the last 10 years with Coliban Water, and, as its Chief Operating Officer, he leads the service and infrastructure areas of the organisation.
“The Board has confidence the organisation is in good hands under the leadership of Neville as Acting Managing Director and the head of the Leadership Team,” Ms Roffey said.
