Pipeline construction – Maiden Gully

  • Maiden Gully

We are continuing works on the Maiden Gully to Marong Pipeline, a new 11-kilometre water pipeline constructed between Golden Square, Maiden Gully and Marong to boost capacity and improve water pressure and reliability in this key growth corridor.

You may notice us working in the power line easement between Edwards Road and Rocky Rises Road and in the easement between Olympic Parade, Maiden Gully, and Emily Way, Golden Square.

We may need to temporarily close some sections of the easement during works. You will still be able to access your property.

All our works will be completed on weekdays between 7am and 5.30pm.

Please take care when driving in the area and follow any traffic management that is in place.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Echuca fluoride system offline

  • Echuca

As part of Coliban Water’s regular upgrade and maintenance program, the fluoride system at the Echuca Water Treatment Plant is currently offline while the unit is being replaced.

This means fluoride will not be added to the Echuca water supply until the work is complete.

Fluoride does not contribute to your water’s safety. Your water remains safe to drink.

For more information on why fluoride is added to drinking water and the oral health benefits, visit the Department of Health's website at health.vic.gov.au/water/water-fluoridation. And for other ways to help support dental health, visit health.vic.gov.au/water/unfluoridated-areas

We encourage community members to speak with their dentist or healthcare provider if they have any concerns.

We expect works on the new fluoride system at the Echuca Water Treatment Plant to begin in early 2027. Following the works the commissioning with fluoride is subject to Department of Health approval.
