Community groups invited to apply for Coliban Water Community Rebates
Community groups in Elmore, Epsom, Goornong, Guildford and Maiden Gully are encouraged to apply for funding through Coliban Water’s latest round of Community Rebates.
The program provides financial support for local projects in towns where service has not met expected standards.
Executive Manager Customer and Stakeholder Experience, Lauren McLean, said the rebates are an important way of recognising the impact service issues can have on customers.
“From unexpected supply interruptions to water quality concerns, we know these events can be disruptive for the people who rely on us every day,” Ms McLean said.
“Our Community Rebates program is one way we acknowledge those occasions by helping fund projects that deliver lasting value to the broader community.”
In this round, eligible groups in Elmore, Goornong and Guildford can apply for up to $6,000, while groups in Epsom and Maiden Gully can apply for up to $10,000.
Ms McLean said the program continues to highlight the strength and resilience of local communities.
“Each funding round highlights the outstanding work of community organisations, often undertaken behind the scenes and driven by genuine commitment. We are proud to support initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes and encourage all eligible groups to apply,” she said.
Applications close Monday 20 April, with successful recipients to be announced on Monday 11 May.
Recent recipients from the December 2025 round included:
- Korong Vale Community Planning Committee Inc – signage and wayfinding upgrades
- Leitchville Memorial Hall & Leitchville Primary School – shared garden improvements
