Update
The burst water main in Boort has now been repaired. Full service has been restored to affected customers and water carting has finished.
We would like to thank all customers for their patience while we worked to repair the burst.
Earlier
We are currently experiencing low water levels in Boort due to a burst water main.
Some customers in the area may experience pressure fluctuations or have no water until these repairs are complete.
As part of our efforts to continue to supply drinking water to the town, we will begin water carting directly into the water mains.
We are asking customers to limit water use to essential use only. Hot days like today increase demand across our region, so it’s more important than ever to stick to the Permanent Water Saving Rules to ensure there’s enough water for everyone.
