Managing Environmental Risk

We recognise environmental risk management as a fundamental part of our business.

We maintain and implement a certified Environmental Management System (EMS) to better consider how we impact upon living natural eco-systems and the sustainable use of resources.

We have been certified to the AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 standard since 2006.

The certified EMS identifies environmental aspects and impacts for all of our operational activities, assesses their inherent and residual risk as well as the level of management controls that are in place.

It provides the business with essential procedures and information to mitigate the potential impacts that business’ activities may have on the environment.

Our Significant Environmental Aspects (SEA) are available upon request. If you would like to receive a copy please email us your details.

Our Environmental Policy outlines our commitment to taking a longer term, sustainability approach to managing water, sewerage and recycled water services, including the consideration of life cycle impacts.
