We supply drinking water (potable) to 42 out of 49 towns in our region. This means the water is treated so that it's suitable for human consumption, such as drinking, preparing food, brushing teeth and making ice.

In the 7 towns where the water isn't treated, it isn't safe for human consumption, although it can still be used for personal hygiene such as showering. We monitor water quality in these towns regularly and in cases of poor raw water quality, such as a Blue Green Algae outbreak, we'll notify you.

We supply drinking water in line with the Safe Drinking Water Act 2003 and the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. See our Safe Drinking Water Act 2003 Annual Report for detail.

We understand that different communities have different needs and we value your feedback. It helps us to better understand the communities where we provide services.

Check our Your Town page for upcoming visit dates.
