Cohuna Fluoridation Project

Under Victoria’s Health (Fluoridation) Act 1973, the Department of Health has directed us to add fluoride to the drinking water supply at our Cohuna Water Treatment Plant.

Heathcote Water Treatment Plant upgrades

The Heathcote Water Treatment Plant received a $4.8 million upgrade to improve the water treatment process.

Cohuna Aerodrome

The operational future of the Cohuna airfield has been confirmed after the Lions Club of Cohuna recently took over the licence for the airfield.

South West Loddon Pipeline Project

The South West Loddon Pipeline (SWL Pipeline) is an $89.9 million project that will deliver a secure water supply to local communities and farmers who rely on rainfall and farm dams.

Safe Water Distribution System Optimisation Program

Developed by the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Safe Water Distribution System Optimisation program aims to improve public health protection by going above and beyond regulatory requirements.

Coliban Main Channel Renewal Project

Built in the late 1870s, we are upgrading the open channel to reduce water loss and environmental impact.
Stages one and two of the project are now complete.

Heathcote Sewer Scheme

We installed 10 kilometres of sewer mains around Bennett Street and Redleaf Close and in the Argyle area.

The project has expanded the Heathcote sewer network so more of the local community receive safe and environmentally friendly sewerage services.
